Introduction to single Particle cryoEM

Two courses will be available, one in Spring 2022 and one in Summer 2022. Dates to be confirmed.

This is a ‘New to the field’ course for those looking to build a solid theoretical and practical foundation of knowledge and embark on a single particle project

Course dates: Spring 2022 (TBC) (4 day course)

Description:
Day 1 will consist of lectures and theory, with breakout sessions to discuss projects. Days 2-4 attendees will be in small groups of 2 for the practical sessions, which will include project work up/negative stain, cryoEM grid preparation, cryoEM using a side entry holder (FEI/thermo fisher microscope), cryoEM grid screening on a Titan Krios microscope and introduction to single particle data acquisition. 10 places available.
