Application
Non-covalent mass spectrometry for determination of sub unit stoichiometry of proteins and their biomolecular complexes. This can be extended to determine the collisional cross sectional areas using ion mobility spectrometry-MS and to examine shape and conformational changes under different conditions. Hydrogen deuterium exchange-mass spectrometry is available for probing localised changes in protein dynamics and hydrogen bonding in perturbed systems.
