Small Molecule Screening
Application
High-throughput spectroscopic assays, usually on protein or whole-cell targets. Techniques include absorbance, luminescence, fluorescence intensity, fluorescence anisotropy and time-resolved fluorescence. The plate reader is capable of making kinetic or end-point measurements, and ratiometric measurements can be carried out easily.
Equipment
Perkin-Elmer EnVision plate reader with a wide variety of optical filters. The plate reader has a pair of liquid injectors, a laser barcode reader for sample tracking and stacker modules for high-throughput screening work.
