High Throughput Robotics

Application

Accurate and precise pipetting of small volumes of liquids (1µl - 1ml). Uses include high-throughput screening (in conjunction with the EnVision plate reader), assay plate setup, combinatorial mixing, serial dilution, protein crystallisation, plate replication and more.

Equipment

Hamilton Star liquid handling robot with 8 pipetting channels. The robot has a heater/cooler/shaker module, and a laser barcode reader for sample tracking.
